Stillness, 2019
original photographs edited on Photoshop
For our first project in my class entitled Time, we were introduced to digital photography and editing using Photoshop - which I had never formally used. For each photo, we had to focus on and represent one of the photography principles we had studied: vantage point, leading lines, framing, edges, rule of thirds, fast & slow shutter speed, balancing elements, and shadows. Some images combine multiple techniques, but each is unique in its composition and aura. I photographed my immediate surroundings, using the city and nature as my strongest sources of inspiration.
